Union Property Capital was one of the first developers to venture into the Mission District to acquire this majestic 86,311-square-foot brick building. The property was historically home to a variety of manufacturing companies; it was a sewing shop when acquired. Union Property Capital, with the assistance of McCluskey & Associates, performed a complete renovation/conversion. The improvements included adding a 10,000-square-foot fourth floor, performing a complete seismic upgrade, and installing new HVAC systems, a new lobby, a reappointed exterior, and excavating for a26-car parking lot in the basement. Features include attractive wood-joist open ceilings with heights ranging from fourteen to eighteen feet and a window line on all four sides of the building.
